'Tis the season to be shifty

Fa la la la la, la la la la!

Anyone monitoring my movements during December would think I was up to no good. Covert rendezvous in car parks, waiting in residential streets for husbands to go to work so I can sneak in to see the wives, and exchanging small parcels for brown envelopes in dark alleyways are all standard procedure in the run up to Christmas. But needless to say, there are no illegal or immoral shenanigans taking place amidst the dodgy looking exchanges – just me trying to get Christmas presents handed over without the intended recipients noticing!

This is obviously our busiest time of year and we do our best to accommodate as many orders as we can – indeed the most difficult part is knowing when to stop accepting orders with a promise for pre-Christmas completion. Items for Christmas framing vary as widely as for the rest of the year – lots of original paintings, prints and tapestries, pet portraits, memorabilia and signed sports shirts all make up a typical festive order book. This year has been no exception and we are pleased to report that we are on course for completing every order we promised in good time.

So, this is a good opportunity to wish all of our past, current and prospective customers a very merry Christmas and prosperous New Year. All that is left for me to do is sneak out and do my own Christmas shopping – now that will look shifty!
