For important news and updates

As a small independent business that prides itself on the quality of its products and service, we gain all of the business we need from return customers, recommendations, and from our website and social media activity.

We feel we have little to gain from bombarding our customers with relentless marketing material, and so we don't. Our daily snippets go out on our social media pages, and if we have something more important to say we will send an email to our subscribers only.

Below you will see what information we keep and what we do with it. Should you have any concerns over the information we may hold, or would like us to remove any information we may have about you from our systems, please get in touch.

Mailing List

Infrequent email for when we've got something important to say. Only sent to subscribed members, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Only name and email address are collected, and details are not used for any other purpose or passed on to any third party.

Booking System

When you book an appointment with us, we will record this on our booking system. We use Microsoft Bookings to manage appointments within an Office365 account, and for this collect the following information:

- Name - for identification.

- Phone number - so we can contact you in the event of the need to discuss anything to do with your booking. If this is a mobile number, we will also send you an appointment reminder by text message beforehand.

- Email address - so we can send you a booking confirmation.

- Address (if booking a delivery) - so we know where to deliver your order.

Once your appointment is over, this information is not used for any other purpose other than to refer back ourselves should the need arise. It remains on our booking system indefinitely to allow this. It is not passed on to any other party.

Order System

When you place an order with us, we will record this on our order system. We use Xero for this and record the following information:

- Name - for identification

- Phone number - so we can contact you in the event of the need to discuss anything to do with your order.

- Email address - so we can send you an order confirmation and notification of order completion.

Once your order is complete, this information is not used for any other purpose other than to refer back ourselves should the need arise (e.g. to repeat an order). It remains on our order system indefinitely to allow this. It is not passed on to any other party. We may very rarely use it to send you an important message, as mentioned above when we moved, but only if we think it is really important.

Accounts System

When you pay your bill, we will update the order but gather no other personal information. Details necessary to complete the payment are taken by our payment service providers (PayPal, Stripe) in accordance with their own privacy policies, but no financial details details are passed to us. We just know that the bill has been paid.

Website Order

When you order an item from our website, we will record this on our eCommerce platform contained within our website We will record the following information:

- Name - for identification

- Email address - so we can send you an order confirmation and notification of order completion.

- Address - so we know where to ship the order to.

Website Contact Form

When you contact us using the Contact form on our website, we will record this on the Contact list contained within our website, with details also being sent to us by email. It is used only to allow us to respond to your enquiry. We will record the following information:

- Name - for identification

- Email address - so we know who to reply to.

This information is not used for any other purpose other than to refer back ourselves should the need arise. It remains on our contact system and email store indefinitely to allow this. It is not passed on to any other party.

Website Browsing

When you visit and browse our website, we gather various pieces of anonymous information and store them as cookies on your device. See Cookie Policy below for details.

From our eBay store

When you order an item from our eBay store, eBay will record this and provide us with the following information:

- Name - for identification

- Email address - so we can send you an order updates.

- Address - so we know where to ship the order to.

Details necessary to complete the payment are taken by eBay in accordance with their own privacy policies, but no financial details are passed to us. We just know that the bill has been paid. Once your order is complete, this information is not used for any other purpose other than to refer back ourselves should the need arise. It remains on eBay's system in accordance with their data retention policy.

Cookie Policy

We want to provide you with as much information about what we do as we can via our website, and offer facilities to make our interaction with you as easy as possible. We are often complimented on the ease of using our booking system, the comprehensive photo galleries, and the ease of contacting us. For these features to work efficiently for you, they often need to store snippets of information locally on your device, and these are stores in files called Cookies. Just about every website now utilises cookies, and our website would not function without them. Another function of the cookie is to provide us with analytics - anonymous statistical data about how our website is used, e.g. how many pages are visited per visitor, how long they visit, etc. which is recorded along with the IP address of your device. This allows us to identify parts of our website that require attention (e.g. too difficult to find, not interesting, not relevant). As with our privacy policy above, we are not using this information for aggressive marketing or targeting, but just so that we can improve our service to our customers. Since 2011 it has been law to make it clear to website visitors that cookies are in use and you will be asked to accept that they are when visiting our website by means of a pop-up box on the home page.
