Pastel pictures often display fantastic texture as the pastel sits on the surface of the paper.

As such, pastels need careful handling to avoid smudging, and should be framed in such a way that there is good clearance between the paper and glass.

If necessary, we can fit a pastel trap to catch any loose pastel that may fall off the picture over the years.
