Oil Restoration

We can arrange for all aspects of restoration to be carried out on your oil paintings.

Cleaning

Oil paintings by their typically unglazed nature are exposed to the elements - exposed to dust and dirt, smoke, nicotine etc, and will gradually get discoloured over time.  Our restorer can clean and revarnish your picture to restore the original colour and protect it for years to come.

Repairing

If your picture is suffering from paint flaking away from the canvas, cracks appearing in the paint, or has suffered an 'accident' (as in the picture bottom right), our experts can restore your picture to its former glory.  Like with all good restorers, work undertaken by ours is carried out with care and precision, and in most cases, can be undone if required.
